How do business loan brokers get paid?

Most business loan brokers are paid a commission by the lender when a loan funds, typically a percentage of the funded amount. Some brokers instead charge the borrower a fee, and a few charge both sides. Quordx Capital is paid only by lenders, only when a deal funds; borrowers never pay us anything. Understanding who pays your broker matters, because it shapes whose interests they serve, a broker quietly steering you to the highest-commission product can cost you thousands over the life of a loan. Transparency about compensation is the first test of a broker worth using.

50+ Lenders|Funding in as little as 24 hours

The economics behind broker compensation

When a lender funds a deal a broker sourced, the lender pays the broker a commission: compensation for originating, packaging, and qualifying the borrower. This is the standard model, and it means the service can be genuinely free to you.

The risk in any commission model is steering: pushing borrowers toward products that pay the broker more, like a merchant cash advance, when a cheaper option exists. Quordx Capital counters that structurally. Our matching process analyzes your profile and surfaces the 3-7 best-fit lenders from a 50+ lender network ranked by approval probability: the match is driven by your file, not by commission size. We disclose every fee and term, treat MCAs as a tool rather than a default (they're costly, with factor rates typically 1.15-1.50), and we'll decline to submit a deal that isn't right for you.

What Quordx Capital can match you to

Business term loans: $10K-$500K+ over 1-5 years with fixed payments. Best for predictable, planned borrowing.

SBA loans: up to $5M, with current variable rates roughly 10.5%-14%. Best for the lowest cost if you can handle a longer process.

Equipment financing: $5K-$5M+, secured by the equipment itself. Best for trucks, machinery, and tools, new or used.

Business lines of credit: $10K-$250K+, interest only on what you draw. Best for ongoing flexibility.

How Quordx Capital Works

Start with a 5-minute online application and upload your core documents: bank statements covering 3-6 months, your latest business tax return, ID, and entity paperwork. Our platform matches you with 3-7 lenders most likely to approve you out of 50+ in the network. Expect lender decisions within 24-48 hours and funding in roughly 3-7 business days.

What to Expect

You'll see exactly what every offer costs, rate, term, fees, total repayment, before you decide anything. If you're worried a commission-paid broker can't be objective, judge us by behavior: honest cost breakdowns on every product, no pressure, and a willingness to say "not yet" when the timing or product is wrong. Asking what you qualify for is free, carries no obligation, and costs you nothing whether or not you take an offer.
