Lendio Alternatives: 5 Best Lendio Business Loan Competitors
Almost nobody looks for Lendio alternatives because Lendio did something wrong. They look because one application is about to reach a whole panel of funders, and they want a second opinion first. That instinct is worth about ten minutes.
Lendio is a real marketplace with a real network. It says it works with a vetted panel of lenders and funders reached through one online application. Its own documents add two things. Lenders pay Lendio, and that pay may affect where offers appear. The list you see is also not every option in the market. That does not make Lendio a bad choice. It just means you are seeing a selection.
What Lendio tells you, and what it leaves you guessing about
It will tell you where your file went, and almost nobody does that. Section 4.2 of Lendio's privacy policy says that if you ask, Lendio will name the funding providers it shared your data with. No other company here promises anything close. When it advertises a fast funding window, its own footnote adds that timing depends on the product and may be longer. Read that as honesty.
Read the phone consent twice. Give Lendio your phone number and you agree to recorded voice messages and auto-dialed calls and texts, from Lendio and from companies working on its behalf. They can come even if your number is on a state or federal Do Not Call list, and the consent runs on after you close your account unless you opt out. Texting STOP ends the texts. Ending the calls takes written notice with your full name, mailing address, account number and exact phone numbers. Calls can be recorded, and recordings kept for the retention period its policy sets out.
Your file can stick around, and there is no bar to measure yourself against. Lendio says the funders you match with may keep your information even if you never sign anything. No minimum for revenue, time in business or credit score appears on the pages we reviewed, so you cannot check yourself against a bar before you start. You find out by applying.
Five places to take the same file
Quordx
This is our page, so weigh it accordingly.
You fill out one application, about 10 minutes. We read your file ourselves, then tell you which kinds of funding you can realistically get, and send a complete package to three to seven lenders out of our network of 50-plus. We pick them because they fund businesses that look like yours, not because we sent it everywhere and hoped. Those lenders are the ones advertising the timing: decisions in 24 to 48 hours, and money 3 to 7 business days after that. It runs by portal and email, so there is no call to sit through and nobody dialing your cell phone.
Some lenders pay us more than others do. That has never decided what we put in front of you. If the smaller offer is the better one for your business, that is the one we will tell you to take. And if nothing fits your file right now, you will hear that too, on a day we earn nothing. We are a small shop, and doing this right is the only thing we have.
You will never get a bill from us: no application fee, no broker fee, no processing fee. Lenders pay us a commission, and only when a deal closes. That does not make the loan itself free. Your lender still charges what it charges to write the loan, plus any closing costs, and that part is yours. Finding out where you stand is the part that costs nothing. We cannot put up the money ourselves or approve you on our own, and we are not set up in California, Nevada, North Dakota or South Dakota yet.
Biz2Credit
Biz2Credit is the clearest of the big platforms about who writes the check. Its term loans are funded by Itria Ventures LLC, a company it owns, or by Cross River Bank, a New Jersey state chartered bank with FDIC insurance.
Its main product is revenue-based financing, which the company says plainly is not a loan, so there is no fixed term and no interest rate. It says there is no fee of any kind to apply, and that fees come at closing out of your proceeds. Its terms allow one or more hard pulls on your personal and business credit as part of any funding request, not only when you accept an offer.
National Business Capital
National Business Capital publishes the floor that Lendio does not. Its FAQ names a minimum operating history for every solution except equipment financing, and a minimum annual revenue to go with it.
It calls itself a direct lender with access to a lender network, and it publishes a ceiling on what it will fund. It says it runs soft credit pulls for approvals, and that it will tell you upfront if a hard pull is needed to produce an offer. Read the revenue line on that FAQ first, because it decides whether the rest is worth your afternoon.
iBusinessLender
If you bookmarked Fast Capital 360, note that fastcapital360.com now sends you to iBusinessLender. No explanation of the change appears on the pages we reviewed, and some old Fast Capital 360 page titles are still live on the new domain.
It calls itself a direct lender that also works through lending partners, and asks for recent business bank statements when you apply, with the count named on its application page. It is the only shop here that uses the words "soft pull" inside its own binding terms. The limit sits in the same sentence: its soft pull will not affect your score, but credit checks by its partners may.
OnDeck
OnDeck is a direct lender and a brand of Enova International, and it publishes exactly what it wants, all in one place: a minimum time in business, an annual revenue floor, a personal FICO minimum and a business checking account. Screen yourself against those four before you hand anyone your statements.
It runs a soft credit check on the owner's personal credit to decide eligibility, and it advertises expedited funding for those who qualify, with the cutoff conditions on its own page. Its term loan comes with a personal guarantee and a general lien on your business assets, so read the security terms before you sign.
How to tell what a funding shop actually costs you
Ask who pays the shop, and get the answer in writing. Biz2Credit says there is no fee to apply and that fees come at closing out of your proceeds, with no amounts published. Lendio's homepage says "No hidden fees" with no fee schedule behind it. Neither National Business Capital nor iBusinessLender showed a schedule or a statement either way on the pages we reviewed. No published fee is not the same thing as no fee. Ask before you sign.
Keep the broker's money separate from the lender's. An origination fee taken by the lender is different from a packaging fee charged by a middleman. Both shrink what lands in your account, but only one is a question for the broker.
Count the credit checks, not the applications. One form that reaches fifteen funders means fifteen companies hold your numbers. A short list of three to seven gets real competition with far less spillover.
Read the phone consent before you read the rate. It will tell you more about your next two weeks than the headline number.
Does Lendio charge borrowers a broker fee? Its homepage says "No hidden fees." The terms we reviewed name no broker fee and no application fee, and do not say the service is free to the borrower either. Ask directly, in email.
Will applying through a marketplace hurt my credit score? Lendio says sending an application to its funding partners will not affect your personal credit score, and that accepting an offer may cause a hard pull depending on the product and lender. Biz2Credit's terms allow hard pulls at the request stage, so it depends on who you use.
How many lenders should actually see my application? Enough to create real competition, and few enough that each could plausibly say yes. Every decline still costs you data exposure and follow-up calls.
Can I use more than one funding platform at the same time? You can, and owners often do. Space them out, note who has your statements, and avoid stacking hard pulls in one week if you are near a credit cutoff.
If Lendio already got you an offer you like, take it. We would rather be the page that told you to compare than the last one you read before signing.
If you want a second look at the same file, send it over. We will read it and put a complete package in front of the lenders most likely to say yes. Ten minutes, and no fee either way.
